A holiday for two. One guest checking in.
Tom had a romantic holiday planned. Then his girlfriend left him. He heads to Hotel Paradiso alone, with wounded pride and a determination to prove he still has charm. A beautiful Mediterranean resort seems like the perfect place to try. Its guests and staff, however, have plans of their own.
All You Can Love: Hotel Paradiso is a point-and-click comedy for adults about flirtation, misunderstandings and the trouble a little confidence can cause. Explore the hotel, get to know its people, solve puzzles, and follow the question of what once made Paradiso legendary.
After Wild East, something a little more playful.
Working on Wild East: The Straw Man taught me how to put a 2D adventure together. Once I had that foundation, I wanted to make another one — this time something lighter, funnier and more mischievous.
The old Leisure Suit Larry games are the touchstone I keep coming back to: the cheeky humor, the awkward situations, and an adventure built around a man whose romantic confidence can get him into trouble. That is the spirit I want to bring to Hotel Paradiso, with its own characters and its own seaside setting.
Grand promises. Small hotel problems.
Paradiso still has the sea views, the glamour and the promise of an unforgettable stay. Keeping that promise takes some improvisation. Behind the handsome lobby and sunny beach are outdated details, minor mishaps and people trying to keep everything running.
Those frictions are part of the adventure. An invitation, an awkward exchange or a practical problem can pull Tom into someone else's day. The hotel has a history, too, and getting to know its people means getting closer to the story behind its reputation.
Charm helps. So does your inventory.
This is a classic adventure: look around, examine objects, choose what to say, collect useful items and work out what a situation needs. The people Tom meets have distinct personalities, so the fun is in discovering how each responds to his wit, bluffing or improvisation.
Comedy leads the way, with room for sincere moments between the jokes. Tom can misread a situation, make a useful observation, or occasionally get things right. The resort may be absurd; the feelings of the people staying there still matter.
Your room is being prepared.
